Thank you so much for all you do. I am curious about one thing though, how come some uploads ARE split into multiple parts, and some ARENT.

The ones that are split always error in mega sync, and I have to download through the browser, as youve noted, but I feel like a lot of people wont care or really understand a CRC error, and then they have broken files. It is just making it a lot harder and more steps involved to download, when the liklihood of takedown is still about the same right?

I just get really frustrated with these part files, I know I cant force people to do things a certain way, I was just wanting to know why it was like this/why mega isn't fixing the part file errors bug in their mega sync app..

Files are usually split because my upload speed is crap. I upload to both Zippy and MEGA at the same time, which is far more economical on time and on bandwidth for me, instead of uploading the same file twice. Lately the files haven't been split up because I've been having issues with my primary method of upload, forcing me to upload everything twice. I'll be returning to my usual way of uploading once this gets sorted though.

Secondary reasons for splitting files up is to have mirrored files on MEGA and Zippy, so in case of a mid-transfer file takedown, you can always get the remainder of the files from the other source without having to re-download the entire archive. This also means you can start a download on MEGA, hit your bandwidth limit, and choose to finish it on Zippyshare, since the files are identical.

Okay I am seeing a 5gb limit on file downloads through mega, so I get that now, under 5gb files don't need to be split and it is accessible to everyone. Cool.

I guess my only question now is why is this bug still in the mega sync app?!?!?

So frustrating
