If you want a good & free manga app i suggest Tachiyomi, it's fast and lightweight in comparison to others i've tried. It sources Batoto, Kissmanga, Mangafox, Mangahere, Mangasee and ReadMangaToday.

edit: forgot to mention, but it also can update your reading progress to MAL, AniList and/or Kitsu

If you have the epub files then there's plenty of other apps to manage them.

I chose Kobo for example, mostly because of the animations and being free.

I mean for these apps, "you" are the product, so use it at your own risk. For me, I'll just put these on my tablet that has no personal information whatsoever, just in case.

Location permission is for Ads and phone status for login services. You can remove the location service using Apk permission remover | Megalinks MegaDB Apk permission remover :)
