NOTE you need a valid licence key or Microsoft account with the right office version to use these configuration and office setup files AND MUST NOT BE CRACKED. THIS IS ONLY FOR LICENSED OFFICE SOFTWARE USERS ONLY! if you use office 365 or have a click to run version then by default, you cant choose what software to install. for example you only want word and excel but get access, power-point and the like. these set of configuration files and setup programs for 2013 and 2016 allow you to choose how to configure your office install. so you can exclude certain software that you dont need. if you use office click to run or download the office exe from 365 you get a all or nothing approach when it comes the software you get word excel powerpoint and the like which not everyone wants. the configuration files tell the office .exe how to install and what programs are missed out. there is a guide (https://www.askvg.com/tip-customize-microsoft-office-click-to-run-c2r-setup-to-install-selected-programs-only/) to making your office configuration install but i found that some users may find it over complicated
