If you're still having trouble extracting, you may have had CRC errors during the download process. Verify that the file integrity is intact by opening the .sfv file with QuickSFV. If you are using MEGAsync, try using the web client or JDownloader instead.

i know ppl have mixed feelings but i honestly thing the 2009 star trek is the best one ever made, into darkness just didnt have it for some reason and star trek beyond wasnt amzing but much better than darkness - i was hoping for these!
Nice, any clue if Tigole has done the rest of the ST movies?
He has, but the torrents are not very well seeded. I'll do my best to grab them but I can't make any promises.
Good to know. I'll see if I can get them via torrents as well. Thanks for the info.
I've got them and I've added them to my queue. Expect them up in the next few days.
Nice. I've been trying to get them, but you weren't kidding when you said they weren't well seeded (Still working on 6, with zero seeders on 7 & 10) . Thanks.
No problem! It's ready!

Noob question: what is the quality like between x265 and x264?
At identical bitrates, x265 is more efficient and of higher quality, meaning x265 can reach higher quality at smaller filesizes, meaning you can get files that look like this @ ~3GB

I very much appreciate your response. I've been collecting x264 rips and didn't realise I could save disk space by switching.
No problem! You can save space, but x265 is less compatible with hardware decoding solutions, and requires a lot more CPU horsepower to decode than x264, so just be aware of that.
Thanks for the tip. Are there any media boxes that can properly play the files? I imagine my old wd media box wont compatible

WD won't play x.265 (the codec is new-ish, and WD's firmware hasn't been updated in years, as the product was EOLd years ago). I have one and have played thousands of movies on it during the past 5-6 years. I really loved the device and its interface (hey! it has a file manager, you can move/copy/delete files with your remote).
At the beginning of 2017 I bought a Roku Ultra, which plays x.265. Its interface is much more simplified and geared towards watching online stuff, but it plays x.265 flawlessly (and also 4K - I wouldn't know about that, as I don't have a 4K TV set).
I'm not sure, I have a media PC so I don't really know much about other media boxes, but I know the Nvidia Shield will definitely play x265

I know this is kinda late but in theory, any box that can play 4k natively, should play x265. since that is what the 4k bluray uses for the video.
Careful playing Star Trek Beyond in VLC. I had a sound issue. Played fine on MPV
VLC hates AAC 7.1 audio, but you can fix it by upgrading to the latest Nightly build of VLC.
