No in order to play it with Citra the .cia file needs to be decrypted. Citra can only run .3ds I believe

This file is a .cia which is used natively on a 3ds with custom firmware, to play on a citra emulator convert to .3ds (which u/CSKING444 gives a link for) then download a citra build meant for pokemon.

You can install this using a hacked 3DS.

I have the file, but apparently it can't fit onto my 128gb FAT32 Micro SD Card, it is also under 4gb.

you have to format your SD Card in NTFS. Had the problem myself in the past.
Actually I didn't have to! After trying to even compress the file to move it, I had no luck. So what did I do? I moved it over with FTP and that worked! But I could run into copying problems in the future.

I'm trying to install the CIA with FBI, but every time, when it should finish, it gives me an error that says "Failed to install CIA file. Result code: 0xD8E0806A Level: Permanent (27) Summary: Invalid Argument (7) Module: AM (32) Desc: Cert signature or hash check failed (106)" I downloaded it twice, once from the first mega link and again from the second one, using different devices. Any help?
My apologies, I believe it was a hash mismatch. Try the MEGA one again and let me know.

I got it working on citra but its really laggy. My pc is a beast so its not that. Is there a way to get better peformance from citra?
No idea, doesn't Citra struggle to play other pokemon games.
Maybe try the latest Canary Build.

Cheers yeah i only just downloaded citra. Got the canary and nightly one. Did the updates aswell. No noticable change. Is anyone playing on pc and game works perfectly?
Edit. I get an error sometimes. Citra was unable to locate a 3ds system archive. Does this help? Maybe my download missed something?

Sorry for the late reply I just gave up 12 hours ago I finally succeeded the final question (hopefully) that I have is can I play the game normally now no need to import seed or some sort? Just install, turn off the net and done?
