I don't understand why the poster said "Immersion", it's only one disc right? (sorry, I am new to this)

Upvoting for audio quality.

This, my friend, is a rarity that must be cherished.

http://pinkfloyd-pa.blogspot.ca/search?q=immersion -- scroll down a bit and you'll see a link for each disc from the Wall Immersion boxset. I've been looking for all 3 and the link is the best luck i've had so far.. (anyone know where to find Dark Side immersion [this post is only 1st disc?] or Wish you were here Immersion??)

About the Dark Side Immersion Box Set...I don't know I thought it was more than just one album, because this one I already have it in this quality

fair enough, i was hoping i misread the info and the 6-discs were somewhere in the post. I highly suggest taking a look at the link i posted. the live album + demo takes are included.

So the audio quality is extraordinary, but the songs aren't split quite right so non gapless playback players, like VLC, PLEX, will be weird. And shuffle cuts like the first few notes of the start of every song. Great for full playthroughs on gapless playback though

Realistically speaking, that's the only way DSOTM should be played anyway ;)

Oh definitely, just makes it more annoying to put in my full music library, because then the songs will be off when they come up in shuffle. But yeah, I listened to the full thing and no complaints here

How to download?

[-] ImA13x | 1 points | Nov 08 2017 17:46:34

Use base64decode to decode the link. Remember to remove the "(MOON)" as mentioned.

I don't see any moon or brackets? EDIT: never mind I see what you mean, I was looking in the decode.

What software do I use so that my Onkyo can detect the 5.1 channels? Same question for x265 encoded with flac 5.1

You need any software that can output via WASAPI and then through HDMI or Optical to your receiver. Musicbee and Foobar2k are two popular choices.

Re 96kHz/24Bit: nobody will notice the difference.
