This is also the second part of the "Apocalypse Trilogy", preceded by The Thing and followed by In the Mouth of Madness. All three are great movies but i have a soft spot for The Thing. Enjoy watching these for the first time, they are fantastic movies.

The Thing and In the Mouth of Madness are landmarks on their own.
Make sure you watch them.
Prince of Darkness is a lot less visual than the other two - try and buy into the whole idea to enjoy it more.
