Samurai Jack seasons 1-4 iTunes rip re-encoded at CRF22. Massive credit goes to another community which funded the original purchase and ripped the original files (starts with a 'K' ends with a 'su'). This is a good holdover until someone eventually rips the blu-rays.

If you've got the last x265 rip (the 480 one), the new one is slightly better. Looked at them side by side and the lines were a bit sharper. Nothing drastic, but it is an improvement.

Seems color balance and aspect ratio has been changed a bit as well. The 480 rip seems a bit stretched.

There are big differences in the text, I suspect they simply re-did all of that stuff with the new version.

I guess it all comes down to how much you care about fidelity. The 1080p version is only a few gigs more, so if that stuff matters to you, it's very likely worth it.
