There was one put on this sub a few months ago that was around 13GBs so the quality was 10/10 but it was only the sub :(

Quality does matter for this animation so please don't only do x265 and make it a small file size.

Regarding Casino Royale and Spectre, the same situation as the above applies. Too large a file to download from Mega in my situation and having smaller files is deeply preferred.

And for Guardians 2, this was the exact link that I found and desired (for the small filesize, x265 and 1080p) but, as above, was unable to download. The only one I found and could download was 10GB!

Well the one you did is a 720p is one and is a Xvid encode so the quality is slightly lesser obviously. But it's better to watch 1080p as there is only a size difference of 800MB if you didn't download it yet.

That's when you watch in on a 720p screen. And the bitrate matters a lot and XviD encodes are older ones so tend to have lesser quality than a regular H264 afaik.

Well , I'm not a pro in this but just learnt a little.

REMUXes are the best to grab if you want quality (Aroung 30 - 50GB), they have the best audio quality(either dts or ATMOS) with a bitrate >30MBps. Then comes BluRay (aroung 6 - 10GB) with bit rates varying between 10 - 20MPps.

Then the BluRays of low bit rates whose quality is less. WEB-DL files are almost the same quality as a BluRay with a 3-5MBps bitrate and most of them come with a 5.1 audio. x 265 or H264 is a old encode which is the most common on one. XviD is an older one which is smaller in general.

x265 is a slightly recent one and you can find a lot of files in this sub which are x265. It has gained popularity as it can give less weight to file maintaining the bitrate around 3 - 5MBps.

Regarding the resolution 2160p or 4K or UHD are great. 1080p is great for a FullHD monitor. 720p dimnishes the quality obviously due to spread. But, if a 720p has a 8 - 10MBps bit rate then it's better than a 2 - 4 MBps bit rate 1080p copy of the file.

If you have a good surround system then high bitrate Blu-Ray or WEB-DL files should be preferred.

DO NOT grab YIFY encodes as they are of low bit rates. You can always trust encoders like SPARKS,EVO,CiNEFiLE,KILLERS,AMIABLE etc., for quality x264 releases. For x265 the UTR group(Tigole, Joy, LION,TANK,Qman...) are good(Joy has some low bit rate uploads to counter size issues as in case of GameofThrones ).

1080p should alwaysbe preferred over 720p except when 720p is of larger size.

snahp.it provides some good remuxes and high bit rate files if you do not bother about the size. Otherwise go with Tigole encodes on this sub.

mp4 doesn't support srt or any other kind of inbuilt subtitle. extract the sub files and then convert them but i still don't understands why you would wanna convert int to mp4. mkv is a great container that contains the same codec as mp4 and has ability to store multiple audio tracks and subtitles

I'm looking for Stranger Things season 2 in high quality 1080p versions. The most common version we can find is the strife version, which is around 12 gb for the complete season, compression is really visible on this one. I'm looking for a version with episodes around 3-5 gb each. Apparently the best 1080p version available so far is the MADMAX.1080p.NF.WEBRip.DD5.1.x264-NTb, but I can only find it on torrents. [TV] Doctor Who (2005) Season 01 through 10, x264, Bluray in 1080p I know there is a thread of the x265 encodes but the sound seems to broken or not on par of what could have been done with it.

This is is a desperate request cause I had them all. All the specials and all the seasons in 1080p BluRay but through some stupid mistake I destroyed my external HDD. I destroyed so many of my external HDDs because I am clumsy AF.

So here I am, once again, pleading to you all to help me (and I'm sure some others) to complete our quest of getting this together until the new doctor arrives this Christmas. PLEASEEE!!!!

EDIT: I don't use external HDDs anymore but switched to a NAS which will never leave it's place ever again. Accidentally flipping it over or dropping it won't be happening.
