It's shot on 16mm film, it's not so much an effect as the way it looks "naturally"

i had no idea. I thought movies these days are all recorded digitally :\^)

I realized why this noise never bothered me before. The < ~2gb rips do not seem to have the resolution to pick up the high frequency noise. They wobble a bit, but i always blamed the codec/ bitrate for that.

edit: knowing that, now i like the grain :P

Replaced but the par2 files are missing. If you get a failed rar you might need to use the mega link instead.
