Final cut vs DC 30th Anniv (Top download link here)

Final Cut blue colour correction is nice in some places but detracts overall from the colour palette of the film imo.

Final Cut is much sharper & clearer compared to the DC 30th from here.

Not sure on what scenes are different, only watched both simultaneously for 10min and skipped around, was pretty cool tbh, i'm probably going to watch the entire film like that, each version on each monitor and then pause and resync when needed.

Great post! Really interesting to see the differences. I found myself torn back and forth in preference in each example. I like the contrast of the Final, but miss many of the colors.

I think it's widely known that the final cut version is the one to watch, but as you already mentioned these versions haven't been posted before and as someone who likes to collect everything I can't thank you enough for this upload.

Ugh - the color-correction on the Final Cut version is so ugly. I'm grateful for the DC version being posted here.

I agree, it's such a shame. It saps a lot of life out of it sadly. But still, the best version overall, just such a strange steely-blue colour gradient!

wait isnt the 30th anniv one the final cut? because both "final cut"-link you posted at the top also are 30th anniv versions like yours

No, the 30th anniversary edition title is applicable to the bluray, which came with all these versions of the film, but people have only been sharing the Final Cut.
