This is up-scaled 4k due to having a final master at 2K, they up-scaled it to 4k, save your self some bandwidth.Proof!

Plenty of 2k mastered movies still look incredible in a 4k upscale, especially with HDR tossed in. Pacific rim is a reference level example.

As such, it's rather silly to just dismiss 2k mastered movies without at least reading reviews first or even seeing for yourself.

Yes and this doesn't say Remux so it must be a capture? Unfortunately most UHDs released by groups are upscaled 4K or almost 4K (e.g Logan was filmed at 3.4K). Currently very few group releases actually real 4k, Power rangers, X men apocalypse, assassins creed are a few

It is, now there might not be easy software to do it today being it’s the early days of HDR, but nothing about it is impossible.

Does Handbrake preserve HDR metadata fine? I’ve never done any HDR encoding myself.
