I watched the first couple of seasons of this some years ago, but never finished. Does the rest of the series hold up or does it go downhill pretty badly?

In my experience, once they drop a bridge on one of the characters, the rest of the show starts going downhill. I believe that's in the middle of S3.

I enjoyed the first 3 seasons more so than the latter, in all honestly. There were some cast changes which I didn't care for, but with that being said I have watched every episodes of every season multiple times, lol.
