This is such a mindfuck movie, can highly recommend. If you don't know what it's about, just go in blind like I did.

Not trying to deter people from downloading (it's a highly regarded film!), but this movie bored me to death!
Good upload tho! Like those more abstract and less popular films

I don't really get the social/political message of the movie since I'm American but I still love the film for how tense and eerie it is. The whole concept of finding surveillance tapes of your house on your porch is one of the scariest things I could imagine.

True, but the movie isn't tense or eerie in the slightest IMO. Like at all. Chilling concept, but it's intertwined with those social commentary. It's certainly not horror or thriller, but drama.

Yeah, I wanna thank the uploader (and those like them) for uploading movies like this.
As someone with a high tolerance for slow movies, though -- and, you know, just a fan of non-traditional indie movies in general -- Cache barely held my interest; and for all the trouble it went to, it never seemed to have any payoff in the end, either.
If there was supposed to be some sort of profound socio-political undertone to it, I think it got lost somewhere in its own mundanity.
(Looking back at my list, I gave it a 6.6/10. It has a 7.3/10 on IMDB though.)

How does a 6.6 differ from a 6.5 or 6.7? How do you come up with such a specific rating, lol

Haha, in one sense there's no real difference -- but in another, it actually helps me relativize movies. I think I'll ask myself how Cache stacks up against some other movies (usually ones in the same genre or something); and if I think it's better than a movie that I've given a 6.5 too, but not as good as a movie I've given a 6.7, then 6.6 it is.

Haha, ok, thx for the reply

is there a subreddit that has these as just MP4 of the movie?

Thanks so much! Michael Haneke is one of the greatest living filmmakers.
