Is this different from the assembly cut on that was in the Alien Quadrilogy set?

AFAIK, the assembly cut (aka special edition) is the only alternate version of Alien 3.

However, the 2010 Bluray version is a bit different from the 2003 DVD version because they reunited the original cast and re-recorded some dialogues, making audio quality better than on DVD (but it also introduced a goof that wasn't on the DVD...)

This is the BEST version of Ep. 3 out there.
