Eh, I downloaded a few x265 TV shows/movies, to replace my library, and putting the two side by side the x264 always won in the high bitrate quality department, though I look forward to when I can't say that.

I'm also the person that tends to rip blurays directly and just remux to remove any foreign audio tracks.

? x265 is straight up more efficient period. if x264 won then the x265 was either encoded at a lower bitrate or used worse encoder settings.

I agree that is more efficient. Lower equivalent bitrates x265 clearly excels compared to x264 of the same bitrate. Higher bit rates and it gets hard to tell, I think.

My bigger issue, which I didn't state in my first comment (my bad), is that releases with x265 tend not to focus on the quality and generally focus on the low bitrate, because a lot of people care about the size of the download, which is fair.

I probably just need to find some better release groups, not a fan of Joybell's quality though I appreciate the efforts.

I've had that too, a week ago I had a day when I went well beyond 5GB, a window would popup after every download saying that I could download now but at any moment when traffic to mega increased it would stop, never got the timeout.

I encountered a problem today which gives me this message. "Unfortunately, Firefox has an insufficient buffer to decrypt data in the browser, and we recommend you to install the MEGA desktop app to download large files"

This has never happened before and I am pretty sure I downloaded larger files. Is there a workaround ?

This is a normal digital release, such as through iTunes or Amazon Prime.

It's very good quality, and has subtitles for when the Apes speak sign language already encoded onto the file.
