Don't get me wrong, I mean no disrespect here, but "enhanced" is a very unilateral word, like "this is better for everyone" or some thing.

I agree, characters look great in the provided screenshots, but I can't help but feel background loose a lot of detail.

I'm asking because I started re-watching the show last week, philosophy-raws version, ~1.44Gb per episode, and I suppose you could argue that size is only made up of "noise" compared to your enhanced version.

I wanna stress that I'm not one to follow blindly BD standards as "kings", some are just terribly wrong like Bebop (any BD has horrible interlacing issues), Lagann (shitty 720 to 1080p upscale), or Eva (weird colors and other funky stuff)

but some anime, especially movies or tv movies/recap from the 80s are supposed to look grainy as hell (Ghibli is a good example of that) some might just like it a lot sharper (even western Ghibli BD look a lot sharper lol) and that's just fine, but I wouldn't call it "enhanced" by any mean, it looks just different.

That being said, good job, this still looks a 100 times better than that horrible Death Note BD set.

Btw, do you know of any group or anyone attempting a Wolf's Rain upscale+Waifu2x of the R2 DVDs?

Probably 'filtered' would of been a better word to use. I don't know of anyone working on Wolf's Rain but that's one great series.
