If you're still having trouble extracting, you may have had CRC errors during the download process. Verify that the file integrity is intact by opening the .sfv file with QuickSFV.

The megalink itself doesn't show a "setup.exe" as a file in it
The archive must be extracted before you run the setup.

I 'fixed' the CRC file with QuickSFV and ran it. CMD opened up and something came up about verifying files. Nothing after that. What went wrong?

Agreed. I will buy the game when I will have the time to play it. Meanwhile, for this weekend, I will play the torrent version as a demo.
In games like Cuphead it hurt the sales.
The people who play it and like it will buy it because it's a good product and the people who don't pay for it never would have paid for it in the first place.
