I'm not sure of where to start with [this movie.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josie_and_the_Pussycats_(film)) It is very meta. It is very self-aware. It has a fake boyband singing a song called, "Backdoor Lover." Tara Reid co-stars and hadn't yet transformed into the plastic dipshit we know today. It stars Rachel Leigh Cook, who is at maximum 90s cuteness which is reason enough to watch it at least once. Also, it was directed by the same duo who did Can't Hardly Wait, which I think was a damn good movie.
On a side note, the commentary is by the co-directors plus the producer and all of the Pussycats' songs are sung by Kay Hanley, lead singer of Letters To Cleo, who also did songs for The Craft and 10 Things I Hate About You.

Okay, what I found was a single torrent in .m2ts, which is the format on blurays. The file is 91MB but I have yet to connect to anyone, seeder or leecher. I can't even get the magnet's metadata. I'll give it a few days to see what happens.

aww, yes, ive been trying to connect to that one as well, plus one with '1080p unsampled CDAudio source' in parenthesisb neither of which the metadata will load for because of tracker issues. one torrent loaded with a VOB @ 211mb, but tracker errors and lack of seeds plague this torrent, as well.
ive heard the video version is different from the album version, which is why im looking for the least compressed version available. thank you so much for trying to help me; let me know somehow if you ever find the file, and i will do the same for you, friend.

I ust had a look and the file completed. It's the same as the one on Youtube except it hasn't been cropped. It's in 1080p and I think it may have been upsampled. I can't quite tell.

i was gonna ask you about this- my torrent of the m2ts file finished as well, but youre right, its probably the same file that was uploaded as 1080p (displayed stretched to 16:9), but the whole point of this download was to try to distinguish it from the album version, which i couldnt due to the quality.
but, ive discovered different mixes between the album version i have and the Melrose Place Soundtrack version. my album is supposedly the original pressing, which is supposed to have the same mix as the Melrost Place ST, but it seems that maybe that information was erronous, and im assuming i now have the two different versions i was looking for. THIS is what id be asking Kay about, at this point.
ill come back to edit this to be more specific about the versions later when ive actually woken up. thank you much for your continued correspondance.

I know. Pointing to the Youtube video was the only way I had of offering up the audio short of me re-encoding and uploading the m2ts. I don't know what the difference is between the original and the remix you're looking for. But it sounds like you've now figured it out and already have what you're after. :)

heh yeahh, i expected the m2ts to be a rip from a DVD or something, at least; im not totally sure, but one of the videos uploaded to youtube in HD said it was a new rip/capture from a "master" of some sort, but the m2ts ended up looking like a VHS capture...
anyway, yes, im close to figuring out what i was originally looking for. thanks again for all of youe suggestions- theyve been well appreciated. ill come back to update you periodically (ive been coming back to this project every 2-4 days). all the best!

so i havent completely figured out what i wanted to figure out about the audio version used in the video (i havent gotten around to loading em all into Audition to really compare close-up), but i finally got the high quality, proper VOB i was looking for, so if you'd like a copy, id be happy to upload it to MEGA and shoot a link your way. just let me know!
