If you are on fence about watching this and are waiting for blu-ray release then I think you should watch this. For a webrip the quality is really impressive. It's as good as blu-ray rip, there are no weird compression issues and the audio is top notch. I noticed that in just two shots the movement framerate felt a little weird but other than that the rip is flawless. 10/10

Depends on the iPad. But IMO, you won't notice much, if any difference on a screen that small. Might as well save the bandwidth.

They are but they're not in sync. You could hold on for a bit on the subtitles, proper ones would be out soon on subscene or opensubtitles

IDK if you would know this but are the subs 1. correct and 2. consistently off by the same gap?

Meaning, if the subs start off 2 seconds behind the audio, does it remain 2 seconds behind the audio till the end of the movie? Sometimes the pacing for subtitles is off so even correcting them in VLC can be a bitch.
