How long is the uncut version? I have a version that's 2 hours 9 minutes, and I'm not sure if it's the uncut version or normal version.

I googled the differences, and it appears the version I had was the uncut version. It’s 1080 x265 Tigole that someone posted on here a while back. I can link it if anyone is interested.

Yea, that’s a problem I’ve run into with about 1/2 of Tigole releases. However, if you extract the audio, and run it through Audacity to save it in a different format, it works. I think it’s an issue with how the audio is encoded, but my workaround seems to fix it.

It’s a bummer that the workaround is needed, but that’s life ):

Edit: I'm downloading a different copy of the movie with 6CH audio. I'll get that and extract the audio track and see if that works out. Will update this comment after it's done.

Edit 2: I've just tried the original file in MPC media player and the sound is fine. It might be a VLC problem more so than a file problem.

I think on the original thread someone said that 10 channel audio was too complex for their laptop. I assumed that may be the case for me too. It didnt work on the default windows player either.

So about your first edit, did were you able to extract the 6ch audio?

No, I didn't need to. Using MPC Player allowed me to play the original file (from the link I commented) with full audio. That's why I'm thinking it's a VLC problem.

To my knowledge... the uncut version just refers to the uncensored version. Some bluray versions of the film skip over most the church scene and the princess scene if the region encoding is set to certain areas.

So it's not an extended version or anything like that.

It's a shame they'd skip over the church scene. Probably my favorite scene of the entire movie.
