Decode at https://www.base64decode.org/ and remove word !TrasH# (including the pound sign and exclamation point) from both the link and the key. You must type 'mega' before the link after you decode it.

The irony of the computer acting more human than the crewmen

The decryption key didn't work for me when I went to the decrypted link, yes I took out the word !trash# and put mega before it.
It's easier if you just encode the key rather than the link.

It also makes it easier for a bot to find so someone can request a take-down. It's working, I just went to the share and it's live, make sure you decode the key and remove '!TrasH#' from it also. I'm not going to make links more easily discover-able and therefore shorten their lifespan potentially.

Still amazes me that Kubrick was able to do this before CGI

CGI is overrated, I miss practical effects.

No, it's a Lossy format used when the player can't handle Linear PCM. It's available if you need it or if you want to lower the file size.

Tell that to the executives who ruined the prequel to The Thing from 2011. The filmmakers spent several months designing beautifully grotesque practical effects, trying to stay as true to the original as possible, and the executives saw the finished workprint and said "We hate it, not enough CGI, redo it and cover up all the practical effects with CGI"
And then the biggest complaint about the movie was the horrible CGI

I didn't know the filmmakers wanted to do the movie without the CGI monster, that would have been way better. You see the monster way too much in the new movie, the original was great because it was all tense standoffs since you never saw the Thing when it killed people and you didn't know who was real and who wasn't. Hollywood is filled with idiot execs which is why the film industry is kinda flailing right now and a bunch of the talent moved to TV.

The movie was finished with 95% practical effects and 5% CGI to fill in the gaps, but the execs had them replace it with 100% CGI, and it's especially sad because they put so much thought and care into making the movie, and the practical effects looked sooo good while the CGI aged really poorly.
Here's a video that sums it up pretty well. I hope there's the untainted Workprint Edition of the movie floating around somewhere, I'd love to get my hands on it.
