After extensive searching, this is the best quality copy of this movie I could find. Found it in 1080p but it was very blocky and low-bitrate for the resolution.

Just wondering: Why is this release so big? Shouldnt a 720p x264 movie be much smaller?

Not necessarily, people are just used to seeing smaller file sizes for 720p releases. This one is just less compressed than most.
