I don't know why but I always get lucky when I'm looking for these. I click new and they are uploaded 1 minute ago. Thanks!

Can anybody else comment on this? Because I have the whole batch of the same release for the previous episodes but didn't notice anything wrong with the sound myself, although I did see people complain about sound issues for the previous episodes. Could it be because of my setup or something like that?

[EDIT]

Yeah the sound is still fine for me, idk.

I've seen people say this for episodes 7 and 8 of this season. It sounds perfectly fine to me.

Maybe people with potato sound systems? Just tried on mine setup, sounded great with full surround. No issues at all.

Haha, that had crossed my mind. I don't even have a fully fledged sound system and it still sounds fine on my TV and my PC.

I have a feeling it's a problem with decoding. I have an old (relatively) cheap surround system (Logitech z5500), but it's good enough to handle most things I throw at it... so I was perplexed by the issues with the last two R&M episodes.

I usually use VLC on my PC but, just for shits and giggles, I played the newest episode on MPC-HC and the audio sounds a lot more "present" and correct.

It's almost as if VLC is treating the audio track as stereo, since most of the effects that were playing in the surrounds were non-existent and those that were there had a similar audio quality to simulated surround from a stereo source.

The Logitech z5500 wasn't exactly cheap when it came out, and it is a full dolby THX certified system. It more than likely is that VLC isn't passing the audio through to it properly. That system is ancient though, about 10+ years, so it is possible it may no longer working properly as well.

It's unlikely that the speakers are dying on me that consistently; I mean, there's no way they would work while watching the episode with MPC-HC and then not work while watching it on VLC.

I love that speaker system and I'll be sad when it starts to noticeably degrade in quality... so far the original remote has been the only casualty, but that was because the previous owner lost it.

Does anyone have the 720p x265 version?

Just download it and encode it yourself?
