The Flight of Dragons is a 1982 animated made-for-tv movie by Rankin Bass in the midst of the Dungeons & Dragons craze. This is the same company that did all those animatic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer specials in the 60s and a year later they would release Thundercats on the world. And if you're into Star Wars, James Earl Jones voices the villain and he has a blast with the part.
There never was an official soundtrack release, but in 2015 an Indiegogo was launched to fund a soundtrack project. It failed. They did, however, release several synth mockups of their planned work and posted them to Youtube. They sound great and you'll find them in their own folder.

Partially based on the Gordon Dickson book, "The Dragon And The George". Classic!
