I need to use a vpn but because I use it, mega gives me the error "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded". I tried using windscribe but it doesn't work anymore, should I buy a mega account? and will a pro mega account be affected by the vpn(windscribe) sharing an ip?

Yes. I use WindScribe as well. I try to use an server in a location that is likely to not be busy to avoid this. e.g. if in the US @ 8 PM, pick a server in eastern Europe.

couldn't you just write a script to check your bandwidth out the tun interface and then reset the connection if it's not high enough?
that way you'd be able to see if
a) you're on a used IP
b) you've exhausted your bw limit
c) on a shitty/high latency IP
just a thought. I haven't done anything like this, but have been thinking of it

Yes, if you are using windscribe (or any other vpn) anyone else could also be using the same ip server and taking up bandwidth towards the limits. This is why it's not a good idea to direct everyone to the same vpn service...
