Do you have the native bluray source and would you be willing to upload the remux?
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 1 points
Yeah, I can do that in a few days, I have a few other requests pending first
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points
Awesome! What other remuxes do you have or are able to get access to? I have 250GB left of transfer allowance in my pro-lite account and I wanna use that up before it expires at the end of the month
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 4 points
I have a physical blu-ray library of around 1,300 discs (this is one of those), is there anything in particular you have been looking for? With very few exceptions they are the region 1 NA versions.
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points
Oh jeez, well in that case, if you have any of these, they're at the top of my list of movies to download. Remuxes of any of them would be extremely appreciated, I'm not in as much of a rush to get Moulin Rouge tbh haha
Sorry for such a huge list, I don't expect you to upload them all at once or anything
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 2 points
I have:
2001 A Space Odyssey 1968
Alien 1979 Theatrical Cut
Blade Runner 1982 (5 disc set includes Final Cut, US and International theatrical cuts, Director's Cut, and workprint)
Casablanca 1942
Citizen Kane 1941
Donnie Darko 2001 Director's Cut
Dredd 2012 (3D and Standard)
Halloween 1978
Hamlet 1996
John Carter 2012 (3D and standard)
Lawrence of Arabia 1962
Lolita 1962
Oldboy 2003
Pan's Labyrinth 2006
Planet of the Apes 1968 (I have the box-set of all 5 original films)
RoboCop 1987
The Thing 1982
They Live 1988
You want just the movies or the special features too? If you don't have a preferred order I'll probably just go down the list in order.

Sure, I was going to include all the audio tracks, I figure people downloading a remux should expect big files.
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points
On the topic of Carpenter films, do you have a BluRay of Escape from New York 1981 in your collection as well?
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points
Just the movies, but you can leave in any commentary tracks if they have them. This would probably be my preferred order:
If it's not too much extra work for you, would you consider sharing them through zippyshare? If not I totally understand, but content uploaded on zippyshare tends to stay alive for longer, plus no mega download limitations
Edit: All requests have been fulfilled!!
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 2 points
I just don't have the bandwidth to upload twice and the sub rules say at least the main link must be to a megashare. I'm going to start with the Kubrick and Carpenter films first since someone else requested those too then I'll continue to follow the list. I should be able to start posting these in a few days.
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points
No problem, I completely understand

I just thought of a way around this, you could theoretically compress an encode of the BluRay like you might've done anyway, and then share both the encode via MEGA and the remux via Zippyshare (instead of just MEGA or both) in the
Remuxes and MEGA don't really mix well since the file sizes are often wayyyy larger than the 5GB download limit for free users, but Zippyshare has no limits so more people will be able to actually get and enjoy the content if you share it from there. MEGA is still great for <5GB files though, so an encode would be perfect for people who have free mega accounts or don't want the excess file size. Zippyshare just seems to be a much better medium for sharing remuxes, especially in my case where all those movies on the above list would inevitably take up more than the ~250 left in my pro-lite transfer quota.
Also, don't worry, I would never ask you to reup any remuxes you've already uploaded/are currently uploading for me—as I said, I still have about 250GB left with MEGA pro-lite, so I'll be good with MEGA until that runs out.
However... with Zippyshare, it'd only take barely 40 minutes to download a 30GB movie (115Mbps dl speeds), but once I'm back to a free MEGA account, it'd take me at least 1.3 days for the same file, simply because of the ≥6-hour wait between every 5GB, and I'd be genuinely worried that it might get taken down before I could finish downloading it. I think the last thing either of us want is to waste our time and bandwidth. In my experience, Zippyshare links tend to be more immune to DMCA takedowns, and they'll often stay alive so long as people are downloading them. The other plus side is that Zippyshare would also get rid of my sense of urgency since I wouldn't be trying to beat the clock on my pro-lite account, which ends ends in ~20 days.
Naturally, it's all up to you of course, and I completely understand if it's too inconvenient for you to go through the extra steps of splitting the remux for Zippy and making an encode for MEGA—but if you already planned to do an encode eventually anyways, it'd be two bird one stone. I can see this being a win–win, if you're up to it; everyone benefits, everyone is happy. If you feel it necessary, I could even try to persuade the mods to be more lenient about the matter, to get their approval, I just hope you'll consider this :)

You don't have to worry about a remux of Alien 1979 Theatrical Cut, I was able to obtain that through another user, just skip that one when you get around to my list :)
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 1 points
OK, I'm uploading Run Fatboy Run for u/5-bags and then I'll do an upload of The Maxx remastered since it's small but your stuff should start going up tomorrow. The first one will be The Thing since people generally wanted Halloween and the Carpenter/Kubrick films.
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points
Thank you so much, and The Thing is a great one to start with, one of my favorite films, so I'll appreciate being able to store a beautiful, uncompressed remux in my archive.
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 2 points
No problem, I think it's my personal favorite horror movie (although Get Out was truly excellent so now it's a bit of a tougher call), happy to share it with others :)
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points
I have a remux of Get Out and I've really been meaning to watch it soon, I've only heard good things about it. Between Alien and The Thing, it's hard to pick favorites, I'm glad to hear Get Out is another top contender!

Thank you!
Has it been taken down?
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 1 points
It's still up
I'm getting the same thing. I've removed !TrasH# from the site but I've still got it wrong.
Should it be?
"#F!9PglyaBZ" (minus the quotes)

I finally had the bandwidth to download this, and after muxing, it seems that the commentary track is actually the descriptive track for the impaired, and not the commentary track.
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 3 points
Ah, my apologies, I will change that.

Thank you Sir!
