Logan is an awesome movie. Can't compare to this.

I felt the exact same. Mediocre at best, but could have been brilliant. I genuinely think it's just popular because it's the first big female lead superhero movie, and it's directed by another girl. Which is awesome, but the film just isn't that good. Shame, because Gadot was one of my favourite parts of BvS.

They have the money and the talent for everything possible when it comes to FX. Its pretty incredible that NO ONE can write a good story and make quality movies. WW1 germans looked and behaved like nazis, thats just terrible writing.
Logan was the first superhero movie since Iron Man 1 that I really liked. Man of Steel was okay, I think Im biased because I love that character since I first saw Reeve's movies, Hulk from 2003 was very good, loved every aspect of it... and first place by far and probably will remain forever up there, at least for me, is Watchmen; there's not a single superhero movie that managed to get anywhere near to the plot quality and characters.

Yeah, I got a serious Nazi vibe from WWI Germans, which made me so angry because one of the things that made the concept of the film so unique was that, unlike WWII, there was no clear line of good versus evil. It was just nation on nation, and arbitrary lines in the mud that existed only to fuel some violent power play between Queen Victoria's grandchildren. Instead, they made it into a generic "kill Hitler" plot. And it's a damn shame because I really liked BvS. I know it's not well-liked, but I waited for the ultimate cut to see it, and came away really liking it. It reeked of everything I loved about Snyder's Watchmen. I know BvS has issues, but I felt like it approached the issue of man's inhumanity to man, and the idea that one's perception defines one's concept of evil, in a much more adult fashion. It just felt like it aspired to higher philosophical ideals than Wonder Woman.
