LOL. I've had this, Aeon Flux DVDrip, and The Head (has not so good audio =/) But I'll upload Aeon Flux like nowish.

Nice, much appreciated

But I'm not uploading The Head, There would be so much hate.
EDIT: I also have Freakshow. Animated series with John Benjamin and David Cross. it's 640x480 TVrips, but not terrible.

I'd love to see a copy of Freakshow but curious why there'd be hate for The Head?

I'll get Freak Show up soon. Found it on Demonoid, torrent seemed dead but I left it and woke up to it complete a day or two later.
[-] tiiiiimmmm | 2 points
Yeah, Demonoid's tracker hasn't worked right since they got taken down like 5 years, they have lots of stuff that actually seeds when it looks like it doesn't. I miss Demonoid, back in the day I used it for everything.
Anyway I say you posted the stuff so thanks!

I was very very bummed when I went down. No problem!

Worst thing the audio on The Head is it's not balanced at all. I'm gonna demux it, run it through ReplayGain and see if that helps. I'm personally not picky, but I try to put out something quality for the masses.

Much appreciated

I already have the original nearly uploaded, and the remux/normalized version is uploading now. See what the people think. I could kick myself in the face for just realizing today how to queue and multiplex multiple files in mkvtoonix-gui. That saved a ton of time.

Welcome to batch processing, it's a beautiful place

I also switched to Linux Mint yesterday, cause I can't deal with Windows anymore. So I'm in a wonderful new world full of trial and error :D I don't think I'll miss Windows.
I really wish they'd release this series with the music from the original broadcast. It's a minor change but it just doesn't feel the same to me.

This is the problem with all the old MTV stuff, back in the day MTV had licenses to cover broadcasting a wide range of popular and, at that time new, songs but the license didn't cover home releases. This makes the music rights for home releases of MTV shows from this era prohibitively expensive.
Yeah, but I was talking specifically about "Lighthouse Keeper" by Sunforest. It's a pretty old song. It was also used in A Clockwork Orange. Now it's "I'm gonna marry a school bus driver and..." something something.

It was still cheaper for them to rescore the whole thing themselves than to shop for the most cost effective pieces. Not saying it's the right move artistically but unfortunately you just won't win against the bean counters on something like this.

wow, dude, that is mega-obscure. I haven't even thought about this show in decades. Literally. Nice find!

One of my personal favorites, I recommend the comic as well which goes much further into the psychological imagery and analysis. I've had it on my HDD for years now and haven't seen anyone else sharing it around.
It did trigger me to start looking up some other animation stuff from back in the day and I found some copies of the AEon Flux MTV series as well as The Head

aeon flux was great. Man, MTV used to be so experimental and fearless. They tried shows that nobody else would have considered.

Seconded at why you wouldent upload The Head. Poor audio or not Its so rare now a days Id love to have a back up of it just at all.
However thank you so much for this! I had been just wanting to watch this for the past few months and struggling to find it online.

I did not know that, I'm grabbing the torrent right now. I'm very excited for this one, didn't think I'd ever find a copy with the original bits intact. If it downloads I'll re-encode and upload both versions here. Thanks!

Looks really good, will upload tomorrow. Eps 5, 10, and 13 are still 640x480 though the rest appears to be 1080p.

I actually don't have this on DVD, it's from a torrent, but I have around 1,300 DVD/Blu-ray and another 6-7 TB of media on HDDs. The fall of Blockbuster was good to me, they sold most of their inventory for $1/disc and tanked the price of physical media forever.
