How good is the doc? I caught a part of it on TV while I was cooking dinner. I lived through the 90s, some of the best years of my life. The music scene at that time was something special.
I haven't seen all of the episodes, but I did watch the last one a few days ago. It's called Isn't it Ironic? and it's about music from the 90s. It was good, but it skimmed the surface and touched on all of the major events, which of course is all you can do in a 40 minute episode. Music from the 90s could fill a documentary series of its own.

It's good. I have some nitpicks about the first 90's episode about TV. They left out some fairly huge and influential series like Star Trek The Next Generation. Also, it felt like it went a bit too fast... like they didn't adequately cover each show. Still, it's a fun watch.
The CNN docs are all generally quite good, though. I recommend them!
Both the 70s and 80s you linked to are unavailable
I checked them before I posted, and I checked them now. They're still up. Be careful with letter case when typing the link.

Thank you. Over the course of the last few weeks I've been watching these, worked my way through all decades and am 3 episodes into The Nineties. I have found the 60s and 70s to be fantastic docs but started lacking in The Eighties. So far The Nineties seems alright but it's definitely more of a pop culture history than an actual history doc. Still fascinating though. CNN did a damn fine job with these overall. Thank you for taking the time to up these!
