I want to buy a mega premium account but I would not like to link my bank info with it because I dont feel good about it.

What I did because i did not want to link my bank acc either, is if you download the MEGA app on Google Play you can purchase a premium account with your Google Play balance. I assume you might be able to do the same with apple.
Just buy a google play gift card with cash on it and purchase the premium through the app.
and then you can use the desktop version as well ?

Yeah because its linked to the email account you paid for. So you buy the premium on whatever email account you have then log into mega with that account and you should be golden.
I'm curious, does that include the burner phone too? Because Google logs everything on freshly created account until you turn everything off :)

a bit round a bout but couldn't you just
bluestacks (android emulator for pc)
fire up your vpn
create new google account on emulated android stack
add funds via gp gift card to your google acct
purchase the mega account

Personally IDK dude, you should be able to buy one at a store with cash so no paper trail. There's probably a way out there to way out there to buy google play gift cards online with bitcoin or something, but my assumption is that if you buy one off amazon with credit card they shouldn't be able to track it or anything.

I can use bitcoin. Which site did you use to register mega? When you try to register they show you 9 to 10 websites but none of them were accepting bitcoin

I use Fortumo. You need to provide a phone number, then you get a message, that you have to reply to, and you get another message with a code you enter for premium account. The money will be automatically deducted from my prepaid phone card. It's the easiest and fastest way I know, takes like a minute.

Buy a card at the store? I don’t remember if google play actually sells play credit in prepaid cards or not but it seems simple enough.
