The episode gets put up on HBO Now and Go or whatever the online thing is and then you just rip the download. It also gets released on Amazon so you can rip the download there as well/

Not sure if this was your problem but it was mine and I figured it out.
The version I kept downloading was only 200 mb from zippyshare and I didn't notice. I tried downloading the x265 from Mega and the download size was 1.06 gb. The second version worked and didn't crash once.
The problem was I downloaded an incomplete file that only had 2:36 even though the playtime on VLC said 1:21:00.

Not this week, no. Generally there used to be a release by TBS, but this week they're both very similar. Get either of them and you'll be fine.

As a freeloader I get 5 GB of transfer quota for every 6 hours. Since I'm often downloading through out the day, I made sure that I would not download something and fill my quota so that I could download the episode when I got home from work.

You can use JDownloader for both, but Mega will still stall your dl at 5 GB whether you're using JD or MegaSync.
