The next Legends Era post won't be too much longer. Couple days at most. And that goes from before Phantom Menace to a year before A New Hope so it's a big one. Mostly just gotta grab a few more comics and the few unabridged audiobooks there are (it's sad how many are only abridged, I hate abridged audios so much.)

Completely agree that abridged audios suck so much... It's like watching a bad cut of a movie. :-(

The very idea of cutting up books like that physically pains me

Makes me wanna scream! The first books in English I read were abridged editions, "adapted" for non-native readers. When I first read a full edition of one of the books I thought I'd read, I found that all the flavor was gone from the abridged edition. Although I don't agree with the idea, I can understand doing that for educational reasons. But doing it on a retail book or audiobook? That is a crime...

I mean they could still do it unabridged either way really

It's just a matter of how much time/effort they wanna put into it

That's a fair point. If it's well done. But I feel that most of the times it's just to save money.
