I know this will be too large for a lot of people, but I wanted to give something back to such an amazing community!
Use Base64Decode.org.
Link password is the name of the sub. Replace "abcd" with "mega".
Each film, once extracted, will be in two parts, mirroring the physical releases. Subtitles, including for just the Elvish translations, are included but not hardcoded. The last subtitle listed as "English" should have just the Elvish parts, so make sure you set it to that when you begin watching each video.

I don't need this, but I want it
OH MY GOD IT'S HERE, THE REMUX drools (even though you can pick up the trilogy set for like £12...

Not the extended editions though, they are inflated like shit.
[-] IgnoreMyName | 1 points
Got blu ray extended edition for $35 and had seen them go to that price multiple times before as well. Just gotta way.
Only thing is, I lost Return of the King pt 2 somehow. Never let someone borrow it or even took it out of the house, no idea where its at :(
[-] [deleted] | 1 points
I bought the extended editions on Blu-Ray for $7 each.
The box set though is $50 which doesn't make sense to me. That's $30 more than I paid for them all individually.

I appreciate your work. Thank you :)
Getting a CRC failed when extracting Fellowship part 1. Anyone else get this issue?

What can I say? Awesome!
awesome work, but may I ask why wouldn't you encode it in .265 ? Filesize would shrink tremendously

Is mega link dead?
[-] sherlockpotter7 | 1 points
Seems to be working for me still. I can DM you the link, if you're still having trouble.

Do you happen to have the english subtitles for each video file? It's hard finding subs for this version since its split in two videos.
[-] sherlockpotter7 | 2 points
Subtitles are included in each video. When you change the subtitles in your video player, the last "English" subtitle should be the Elvish translations, and I'm pretty sure that the first English one listed includes both the Elvish and English dialogue.

I ended up just buying a ps4 for black friday and buying the extended edition on bluray for $25 on ebay (it was also on sale brand new on amazon for $25 a few days after my ebay purchased). Thanks anyways.

No problem. Always good to support the creators and buy things when you can! (I own them myself too.) Enjoy the films!
Also, sorry for taking awhile to respond; I don't go on Reddit too much. :/

Man. What kind of download speeds do some of you have? This would take me days. Like legit days. lol

I'm more interested in the storage space. I mean, 200GB for 3 movies is insane.

Better be sum 4k x265555 encode that lets me see fordo's nose hairs like satellite cables

The weirdest thing is that someone downloaded this to watch on a shitty TV.

Lol I know. But if you figure an average Blu-Ray disc is around 30 GB, with three films, each split across two discs, it's right around the size you'd expect for a remux of the trilogy.

I bought an 8TB hdd for storing movies, but then they lost it in the mail and sent another. Eventually the first one showed up after I had already installed the replacement, and now I have 16TB just for movie and tv show storage, plus the 4TB I already had before I got the 2x8TBs

[-] rednight39 | 3 points | Aug 29 2017 19:44:21
You mean you have 8 TB with a backup, right?
permalink
[-] Frodo_Bomb | 1 points | Aug 29 2017 19:49:45
I could use the second one for backup, or for more storage (or technically both if I just have duplicates of the real important movies on each). I haven't filled the first so I haven't had a need to put any data on the second one yet

Data not backed up is data you don't have.

Do you have like 1GB download speeds?

[-] zerodaythrowaway | 6 points | Aug 25 2017 18:36:13
I average between 40-80Mbps, so I'd probably be looking at 10-14 hours for this download. It's really tempting since these would take me forever to rip from my bluray copies myself...

Man. I have a plebs 60-70mb. And that's when it's working. My internet cuts out left and right for some reason. Like 60-80 seconds where it goes down, then comes back on. Drives me nuts

If that's your ISP, I'd be pissed, if they say it's not on their end I would be checking all the connections in your home, A bad LAN cable or flaky router could cause that, even a bad NIC. And if it's over WiFi there's all kinds of problems that could contribute to that.

[-] -TheBabadook | 1 points | Aug 29 2017 01:55:30
Yeah it has to be my ISP or something. Because anytime I call them and set up an appointment (which takes 1-2 weeks). They come out. And literally find nothing wrong......as usual. Happened many times the past 3 years. I'll call, they come, everything is fine at that moment. So they do nothing.
Not just wifi, but my desktop computer that is LAN dips out to.
I've given up calling them out here lol. I just suck it up. It's better than it used to be, believe it or not. Past 2 times I've told them to clean up dead/pointless cables. Like coaxial that goes nowhere or has so many splitters for no apparent reason. One time a guy was too new to understand. And another time, someone thankfully clean up a bunch. So that seemed to help.

[-] Yage2006 | 1 points | Aug 29 2017 02:57:18
Had an issue in an old apartment and the splitters were to blame.
Have you tried a different router?

[-] -TheBabadook | 1 points | Aug 29 2017 03:01:16
Bout a year ago bought a new one. One of the better ones offered at Walmart! I honestly think it's the ISP. They're notorious around here for being bad.
Was a funny facebook post from friends saying they removed their POE Moca filter, and it increased their speed. But it's apparently needed for Tivo to work. So idk. But a few people said it helped?! Wasn't sure if that was legit or not

[-] Yage2006 | 1 points | Aug 29 2017 04:27:37
If you don't have one, I'd try it. I'd also remove any unneeded splitters. I'd also get a lan cable tester and check them all. Having a bad one can screw with your router.
It's worth noting, you could have an unstable network but it can seem fine until you start to put it through it's paces ie: when you're downloading at high speed. So if the tech comes buy again, stress test it.
I play a lot of online games and stream most of my content with Kodi and Terrarium, if my net was cutting out like that I'd be screaming bloody murder at my ISP since I couldn't do shit. Falling that, I would drop them.

[-] -TheBabadook | 1 points | Aug 30 2017 21:45:43
I have that POE Moca filter thing, but people were saying maybe removing it could help with better consistent speeds. Might give that a go (though they said TIVO might act up or something). I'm not tech expert that's why I am hesitant.

[-] Yage2006 | 1 points | Aug 30 2017 23:13:35
Can't be that hard to remove and put back if needed? I'd give it a shot. I have no idea what a Moca filter is, sounds like something I would put on my coffee machine :)
