There are a few different fan edits. I know this is Adywan's second release and that he just started on Return of the Jedi. Besides those Harmy also released despecialized editions of the original trilogy, and L8wrtr released a fan edit of Episode I called Shadow of the Sith. I also would love to watch these, if anyone has them.

No where, as they don't exist. He just finished ESB, and will start on RotJ in a week or two, and then will do ANH after that.

Sadly you cannot get it in 720p (unless upscaled) as this version was released before the blu-ray set of star wars films came out. So it is only in 480p (SD). Adywan is planning on re-releasing it in 720p at a later date.

At one point I was able to download ANH:R as just a simple video file, now everywhere it's something I need to burn to a physical DVD. Is there a torrent or download for just the video that I can put on my external hard drive?

You don't need to burn it to a physical disk, you can use something like Daemon Tools to create a virtual drive and mount the disk image file to the virtual drive. That lets you play the "DVD" without needing a physical disk.
