I have redone my Waifu2x upscaled DVD rips for all of Futurama using a new filter process which ensures correct frame order but does allow the occasional interlaced frame through.
I've also included BluRay rips for the rest of the series and a couple of specials.

That likely means your computer can't handle x265 decoding and you need a faster processor.

All fair points, but I'm not the OP and these are not my encodes (neither is samurai jack). I haven't downloaded these files either and didn't realize this was an upscale which dropped frames so I shouldn't have commented without investigating myself, my apologies.
Have you tried the encodes on snahp.it?

Edit: BTW I agree with you that dropped frames is not an acceptable trade-off for anything, let alone an upscale.

Don't know exactly what you were replying to but as mentioned in the main post I have changed the filter process to ensure frames are not being dropped like in my Samurai Jack copies.
If you believe there are still dropped frames then please provide an example.
I've watched most of these episodes from these copies and haven't seen an issue.

I don't know if frames are being dropped or not, I haven't inspected the files, the previous poster was saying this was the reason it was skipping/chugging, not their hardware, I really can't comment either way.

Wow this is great but considering BTAS is getting a Bluray sometime (first quarter) of next year I'd say focusing in another series is probably a better idea

You have to tell it the show is in DVD Order.
Not sure how you do this in Plex as I use Kodi but in Kodi I right click the show from the Files list, choose change content, advanced and DVD Order.
