its a cartoon tho, 1080p, 420p its all the same, our eyes have diminishing returns past 720p anyway. You learn something new everyday huh m8 :)

It's past 8k that we can't see much of a difference, I believe. If your TV/whatever you watch it on doesn't upscale perfectly, 720p looks like shit compared to 1080p. I hate being able to see all the artifacts. Watching animated stuff makes it 10x worse. I think you might need glasses if you can't see the difference.

Try watching 420p on a large 4k TV with bad upscaling. Eyeball aids.
When you watch that Episode in 10 Years on something greater than a 4k Monitor you will be happy to have a 1080p Version. ;)
