Actually found tonnes of high quality, small sized movies on this sub, really grateful for all the uploaders. Just wish that there would be a hevc 10bit encode for the Disney classics in the near future.

when the download strarts it begins with 5mb/s and a few seconds later falls to 50-100kb/s why is that happening??

Pay for mega subscription or just wait a couple hours after every 5g download.
That's just my advice.
if I download something that's 6 gb will it download the full movie or stop at 5gig and if it does stop will it keep the file cached or will I lose it? I don't feel like wasting 5 gig to find out bcus I get 20mb/s from my isp but they only give 800gb a month...

I personally use MegaDownloader and a VPN to switch my location. So what I do is:
If I'm download for example a 8gb file and I hit my download limit at 6gb (it's not always 5gb depending on the load on Mega servers), MegaDownloader will say there was an error downloading and will say "ERROR" under the status for the file. Not to worry, whether you use a VPN or not, whenever you resume downloading, it will resume downloading from where it stopped.
If you don't want to use a VPN, just wait until you can download freely again and start the downloads again. This is why I recommend MegaDownloads to everyone who asks.

I don't think Windows comes with a VPN service. As for acquiring one, check the /r/VPN subreddit for free recommendations. There was one called Windscribe which has a 10gb monthly limit and when paired with a coupon code, bumps it up to 50gb. Just search "Windscribe" in this subreddit and you can find the post. Hopefully the code still works. I never used it myself because I have a paid VPN called Private Internet Access but can confirm it does work for Mega downloading purposes. I told a friend about it and it worked perfectly fine for him.
As for JDownloader, good program to have, especially for downloading things off of snahp.it I don't know how well it works with Mega though.

If you use mega's official downloader, you'll lose your file when you hit the limit. There are a number of tools listed in the sidebar that you can use that won't let you lose the files.
that's what I was thinking, thank you - I just got into mega a few days ago and when I hit the 5gb limit I just exited out n created another account but I haven't downloaded anything over 5gb yet.

No, you won't lose your file if you hit the limit. I've downloaded without all the VPN trickery for years on Mega ("download through browser" and I never lose anything, even if I leave it go all night. I don't even have to sign in to an account.

what vpn software would u suggest? I did have vpn but it was back on xp n I never used it so I forgot how to do it lol. I definitely need to rebuild my win7 pc n get more hdd since its so cheap now (last time I bought a hdd 1 tb was $110) just have had a bad luck streak with jobs.

Set your router to give out a dynamic IP. Then you can just restart the router and you'll get a new one. mega only tracks the IP, so the download continues without any problems.

there is an app call mega downloader in here,download it and install it ,thn when you are in the mega site copy the url of the thing you wanna download,go to mega downloader click the add mark paste the url,select name and the destination then click add links it will start downoading

As of right now, an hour after you posted your comment, the post is still up. You have to decode the link AND key at base64decode.org
Decode the link first, enter subreddit name as password and you will get the actual link. Then decode the key and enter that in Mega.

First decode the link to snap.it and enter the password (which is stated in the OP) to get to mega. Then decode the key to decrypt the mega link.

Some of the movies seem to automatically hit bandwidth exceeded regardless of if I switch IP with my VPN. Any suggestions? EDIT: Just to clarify, some of the other movies do download, but others just immediately hit the bandwidth exceeded.
