No HBO Now subscription available in Canada? Well fuck you then, HBO.
Not savvy towards thinfi. Do I just paste the password after 'K:'? It doesn't work for me. Thanks for sharing.

Password for thinfi is the sub name only, once that's entered you're redirected to Mega where you need to enter the decryption key (K:)
using megalinks for first time, so a basic question: once i enter the decrypt key I can see the mkv file, but when I download it instead of downloading into my computer, it downloads into the website's sidebar. How does this work?
it downloads the file into a temporary folder(unknown), and once the download is completed, the file is moved to the 'downloads' folder of the browser.
Thank you so much! a question though what is the difference between AMZN WEB-DL & AMZN.WEBRip? again thank you

In this instance they are the same thing, the difference in tagging depends where you downloaded the release from.
WEBRip used to mean captured + re-encoded whereas WEB-DL was direct source download, but some groups are still tagging them as WEBRip since they're ripped from the web.

It's honestly amazing how well our naming conventions work and the culture behind them since there's no one to really enforce them.
Actually, There are people that enforce them... Release groups distribute their releases to PRE sites, once they are on all of them they PRE it (assuming another release group hasn't beaten them). They run a script that sends a command to the FTP's where they announce the PRE and then moves the release into the proper section where traders can access it, at that point it starts getting traded.
Depending on what your release group is doing, you have scene standard rules to follow, min-max bit-rates, labeling conventions and so on. If something is wrong with your release it's then up to NUKERS to NUKE the release.
Note that this does not apply to p2p groups, although some follow the rules as well but many don't, for example all those CAM's being labeled and spread around as TC "Telecine".

NUKE the release.
TIL NUKE wars are a thing
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuke_(warez)
[-] WikiTextBot | 1 points
In the warez scene, nuke refers to labeling content as "bad", for reasons which might include unusable software, bad video/audio quality, virus-infected content, deceptively labeled (fake) content or not following the rules. Also duplicates and stolen releases from other pirates that do not attribute the other pirates will be nuked. When a scene release is "nuked", a message is attached to its listing informing other sceners of its "nuked" status, as well as the specific nature of the problem.
Contrary to what the term implies, a nuke does not actually destroy offending content or prevent anyone from downloading it.

they are not the same thing. a web-dl is a downloaded file, and webrip is a capture. a recording.
[-] douhaveanygreypoupon | 3 points
I didn't say they were the same, only that for this episode of GoT the webrip and the web-dl are the same file, despite the different tag.
WEBRip tag is still (wrongfully) applied to some content that should be labeled as WEB-DL eg: 24, the affair, the americans, awake, american dad.
Is there a smaller 720p version around? This place is usually flooded with links.
The password k is no longer going thru... somebody help

Can anyone please directly mention what the sub name is ?
Click the "PROTECTED" link, enter "megalinks" as the password. Then enter the decryption key on the next page. Then right click the file and choose standard download.

Judging by their profiles they both just made accounts for this sub and don't properly get how reddit works.
