Just a heads up. There's 177 episodes of House. At 60 GB I wouldn't expect much as far as the quality goes. That's around 300mb a piece.

x265. Inferior codec, but it creates smaller files. Some people don't seem to care about quality and just want small files.
On top of that, I suspect these files don't have the right show music. I don't do x265 though so I'm not going to bother finding out.
edit: I bet all the downvotes are coming from people who have never encoded a single video file in their lives. Keep on being ignorant of x265's shortcomings though people.

how is x265 inferior codec? you do realize that x265 can get the same (or better) quality as x264? 4K is exclusively encoded on x265 because of the compression gains.
It is well known that x264 encoders produce better quality encodes. x265's only advantage is the small file size. It is inferior quality and takes more processing power to playback.

x265 advantage is not just "small file size". x265 supports higher resolution and provides better quality at less bitrate. if you want the same quality as x264, you can achieve that albeit you have to loose some of the compression gains of x265.
right now it does take more processing power but only for software decoding, once hardware decoders are available in devices it will gradually replace x264 as we move from 1080p to 4k for all our media.

Yeah, the main downside as I see it with the better compression of x265 is you need a better system to play it back.

Hey today i tried jdownloader and when it finished downloading the first three files and i tries to play them, none of my players were able to play it . It was corrupted . any guess?
