Right click the line with the error and do SHOW ERROR and post that, that'll make it easier to see what the exact error is.

Honestly megadownloader isn't a very good program in general. Quite a few movies/tv shows I've downloaded through it had problems and had to be re downloaded. I would use megasync/jdownloader instead when possible.

Public links for GoT always get removed. the only ones that manage to stay up are the encrypted images.

Outside of Season 7 weekly episodes I don't post a public link. A new zippy dlc will be circulated once the episodes are reupped

I don't understand what the whole "encrypted image" is about.

Isn't there normally a link to download it? Is that what I have to ask OP for?

No those get taken down very quickly. Download the encyrpted image and load it in a program called megadownloader. That'll decrpyt the link from the image and you'll get the link you wanted.
