How did you get the license to work? I'm stuck on the window asking for the File Installation Key.

Anyone has this error, "License checkout failed."?

I even pasted license_standalone.lic into the 'license' folder within C:....\Matlab, and nothing worked. (I tried re-installing it twice, and can't seem to find a way)

The rar file in the windows version unpacks fine. Are you trying to unpack the iso? If so, you're supposed to mount it, not unpack it.

I did try to mount it with PowerISO, and no luck. ):
