Name the subtitles the same name as the episode (excluding the extension of course). Either that or load the subtitles from your player settings.

Most players will use them automatically as long as the filename of the subtitle file matches the video file and the subtitle file is in the same directory. So if the name of the video is S07E01.mkv, the subtitle filename should be S07E01.srt. The extension of the video file is not relevant.

Some players allow you to choose the subtitle file manually, but that depends on what you're using. Just look it up in the settings, there usually is a section for subtitle configuration.

I switched to it because I got a warning from comcast for torrenting but have not had any issues so far :) Now don't quote me on this but It is usually not your Internet service provider (ISP) who reports you for torrenting its actually companies like HBO or their parent company Time Warner who go through and look for who is downloading their torrents and then they report you to the ISP. But because your not actually torrenting it using a peer to peer download service you should be fine because I don't think companies track Megalinks the way they track torrent websites.

That is a torrent. You upload any time you download a torrent. That's how torrents work. Comcast did not contact you because you downloaded, they contacted you because you uploaded a small portion of the file.

No one has ever, ever, ever been contacted or punished for downloading copyrighted material. Your ISP cannot monitor what you download, and there is no way a third party can find out either. That's the whole point of this subreddit, it's risk-free. Otherwise everyone would still be using torrents.
