Generally parents use programs that lock shit behind passwords. Its very common. Actually extremely common. So yeah, its definitely logiucal to come to the conclusion that the barrier you're trying to pass is as such, especially due to your wording.

Also, you're a random person on reddit. Everyone is going to assume that someone asking something like this cant get past that password, and that someone asking for help isnt going to act like a complete fuckwit and insult them for getting the solution to a vague question wrong.

No, you're right. It was the continuous attitude that made me come to that conclusion, not the single comment. His comment may have been a little overreaction, but it pales in comparison to yours.

In fact, you dont even need to look at his comments to come to the same conclusion i did. And i doubt any part of this was about humiliation outside of your own mind.
