SG1 and Atlantis ive watched through so many times easily my favourite show. SGU ended just when you get into the show. I'll upload Atlantis and SGU once i finish downloading the slow ass torrents (my current copy's are not very big or good quality) I'm downloading: SGU is 43GB for x264 720p and Atlantis im unsure yet im downloading two versions 1. 62GB x265 720p 2. 215GB x264 720p None have many seeders so not downloading at even half my 12MB/s download speed

EDIT: Seems the PAL dvd is the 576p higher the NTSC Luckily i live in a PAL region and my uncle has all the stargate Sg1 on DVD lol might have to Copy them.

At least on 'STAN' (like Netflix) AUSTRALIA they have the 576p rips in very good bitrate. I think they have the best quality at the moment. I don't know of any free rips of that quality unfortunately.

It's weird because they recorded SG1 season 1-2 in 35mm film, 3-7 in 70mm and 8-9-10 in Full HD Digital. But, the dvds and different streaming services are all over the place. 480p, 576p, 4:3 letterbox, 16:9 low bitrate, etc etc... nightmare. I even think they had a special edition rip for streaming services ( but I cannot guarantee if it's better then the 576p DVD's, Amazon and Stan used it IIRC)

I live in Australia lol Easiest/cheapest for me i think is to just borrow the dvd's and take the time to copy them all.

Me either, but I wanted to watch Stargate in best possible quality so I researched like crazy lol. The first time I saw it, it was 360p with bad bit rate lol.

The NTSC version has a fuller frame than the PAL version, which seems to be sourced from a NTSC master. Which is better is a bit unclear as they're both poor transfers. I've not seen any streaming version that's better quality than the NTSC DVDs, except for S08-S10 which are offered in 1080p. (One or two of those latter episodes are extended on the DVD but not in the HD version, though.)

Downloading them now but once again slow download speeds from almost dead torrents. 6/7GB (14GB for the 1994 movie) per movie x264 1080p Children of the gods is included in This Sg1 upload.
