it can't. this is equivalent to a ~5 GB h264 encode which has plenty of artifacting in high movement and/or high contrast scenes.
Wrong, citing the "such a small file size" qualification.
Also, what artifacting during high motion? you mean what you can only see when you go frame-by-frame? cos thats just the greatest way to watch movies, for sure.
Not to completely discount the high-contrast issues, but again, "such a small file size."

one of my all time favourite films and would highly recommend people give this a watch if they haven't. Extended version def adds as well as i think that was the "directors cut" alough i know many people didin't like the "date" scene
Also is there actually a 4k version of this? I think it was remastered in 4k then used as source for the 1080p blu-ray.

I'm a big fan of this movie too, although the relationship between Leon and Portmans character is intriguing I was left wondering why the director made her hit on him and do all the weird sex stuff. In addition I wonder why Leon didn't just put a stop to that straight away so they could continue a more normal relationship. What are your thoughts?

She's forced into a situation that made her try to act older than she is (influence from dysfunctional family relationship either parents and siblings doesn't help either) and he's a socially awkward recluse who just has no clue what to do in this situation (her hitting on him etc).
The remastered version is definitely the way to fully experience this film, as it puts an entirely different angle to the relationship between the charactersn and some of the scenes can be somewhat uncomfortable to watch)

Hmm ok that's kind of what I thought as well. I've only seen the blu ray version so I'm guessing that's the remastered.

The US theatrical release was only like an hour 30 minutes, the directors cut (sometimes called the international release) is well over 2 hours long

she was a girl, without a father figure, family etc, drunk & just doing what she thought was normal/adult. I wasnt disgusted by it but i know others were. I think he had to let her to teach her sort of thing because if he said no straight away she would of tried harder/done something more stupid etc.
