Three questions, possibly (very likely) stupid ones: (1) How come the 720 is slightly larger than the 1080? The site I used to go to (tuserie) shows their 720 at 817MB. (2) Is there a particular reason there isn't a reduced size version? tuserie offers various AAC VBR versions (MP4, MKV) that are a quarter the size of these. (3) Any suggestions for re-encoding?

I stopped using tuserie because they now embed the links within several layers of captchas and ad-blocker-sensing popups, but I also have only so much space on my SD card.

I rip the 720p directly as soon as it goes live (2 minutes after the show airs). The 1080p one is done when my source uploads it.
