Morrowind is one of my Top 5 games of all time, although I can't decide exactly which position it occupies. I still think it's better than Skyrim, although you'll need to mod it to heck and back for the best experience (although the same is true of Skyrim).
I may have said in one of my descent uploads that I wasn't supportive of PC piracy, so this post may come across as a bit hypocritical. However, I like Morrowind so much that I think that people who can't afford it should be able to play it. Also, this is a sort of petty revenge towards Bethesda for dumbing down the series.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy this game.

14 years and I still have nightmares about cliffracers. Literally the only downside to this game.
I don't need it, but thanks for sharing my favorite single player game.
Literally the only downside to this game.
I don't know man... The whole "maybe you'll hit your target, maybe it won't?" system kind of bothers me now. And I say that as someone who has been a fan since it came out. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah, the dnd turn-and-probability based hit calculator doesn't work well in a game where the combat is not actually turn based.
There are mods that change it to skyrim style hit calculations, with you hitting them 100% of the time if you strike while they are in reach, and the damage amount is varied based on the hit stat.
Makes combat much more satisfying. Even if you don't like to mod the heck out of your games, I still recommend it.
The first Cliff Racer I ever saw showed up by the bridge near Arkngthand while fighting Snowy Granius.
I thought it was a daedra that he had summoned to help fight me.

Plus, how do I decode the password? Sorry, I really don't know

Nobody knows what that means. Posts like these should be taken down for confusion and stupidity. WHY post some vague key and not the actual passcode? What a big joke.
[-] frylock364 | 6 points
If the passcode is in plan text it is more likely to be scanned by a robot and removed from the web.
If you add a simple action that is easy for a human but hard for a robot it will make the link last longer
Any easy way to do this is to encode the passcoede in Base64 If you google base64 or just go to https://www.base64decode.org/ you can decode the password
A lot of the posts on megalinks are in base64 and its very easy to understand nothing is vague or stupid about it.... as for you ..........
Oh man. I'd love if someone uploaded the DRM free Oblivion from GOG (I've already bought it like 4 times)

Lots of nice stuff on that site all on Mega if you haven't seen it before.

Site seems to be under a DDos attack. Been that way for few days.
I noticed it was down the other day but seems alright on my end at the moment, here's a cached version of the page anyway

Hey guys :) I've never played The Elder Scrolls (any of 'em) due to my poor equipment. I was wondering if my PC could run this (not full specs, but at least smoothly). I got an Inter Core i5-3337U (1.8 GHz), 8 Gb Ram, and Intel HD graphics 4000 If you any other games, I'd love to know (I've played Mount and Blade Warband, and Far Cry 2, and they ran pretty good)
I've run Morrowind on a Celeron Chromebook running Linux (using OpenMW) and a Core 2 Duo. You'll be fine. It's a 15 year old game. You just might not want to install ALL the mods in your case.
Eh... with a 1.8 GHz CPU he very well may run into problems. It's an old game sure, but that comes with it's own set of issues relating to performance.
The GOG store page says that he only needs 500MHz
Oh I'm very aware. If I were to go by that then it'd appear I could play it perfectly fine on my machine, but it's legitimately unplayable for me. It's a weird damn game like that man. Those minimum specs don't mean much when it comes to modern PCs.

What rig you got?
[-] Borschvyruss | 1 points
Well, thanks for your replies. Just a question, what's OpenMW?
It's an open-source engine port of Morrowind. Basically, ZDoom is to Doom what OpenMW is to Morrowind.
It allows the game to be played on Mac and Linux. There was an attempt to port it to Android as well, but it's been abandoned. It never really worked, so the developer eventually gave up, and Bethesda had legal concerns about the Android port.
As long as you are on Windows, you don't need to worry about it for now.
EDIT: Apparently, OpenMW is faster than the original game.. So feel free to check it out if you want to try to squeeze out a few more frames per second.

Morrowind will run perfectly fine on your rig

What the fuck does "decode this for password" mean??!?! HOW DO I DO THAT?
https://www.base64decode.org/
[-] Bloodzercer | 1 points
Yes but how would anyone know to go there if not a CS major?
You must be new here. Base64 encoding is actually a rather common method of obfuscating links in this subreddit.
Also, from the sidebar:
All files here must be hosted on MEGA. The links posted here can be direct links or protected with this or a base 64 encoder, these 3 methods ONLY. No other url shorteners of any kind.
[-] Bloodzercer | 2 points
Thank you for enlightening me. Would you know why passwords have to be encoded? We're the only ones using it..
Passwords normally aren't encoded. I'm actually doing it a bit differently than most people.
Most people will just use the snaph.it method or the base64 method to hide their links. I'm slightly paranoid, so I decided to combine the two methods.
[-] Bloodzercer | 2 points
I see now, but what's to be paranoid about? If you were paranoid you wouldn't expose yourself to share this goodie in the first place. Either way I deeply appreciate what you did. I am trying to completely eliminate torrenting if possible.

If it's any consolation to your piracy guilt, I bought it twice...on console because that's what I had at the time(oblivion once barely played it, and Skyrim on console and then later on PC). They've gotten plenty of my money for past games.
It was the best to date, IMO. Sounds stupid, but I liked that you had all the armor and clothes too, wear the right dress with armor and you could manage a kind of bushido warrior look, or play as a mage wearing only clothes, etc, as opposed to almost all skyrim clothes being dresses, smocks, robes.
I've seen this carry over to some MMO's....and dresses / longcoats etc still almost always look like total ass because they're animated oddly(and dynamic cloth tends to be resource heavy and likewise looks terrible), at least Morrowind gave you the choice, the options.

I've bought it three times and borrowed it once before those.
First I borrowed the XBOX version, then I bought the Steam version, then the GOG version, and recently I bought a PC physical copy online with a bunch of other games for dirt cheap.
So, yeah. I don't feel guilty in this case. I'd feel guilty if I uploaded Undertale or some other indie game.
