[GAME] 3DS decrypted rom mega collection for use with Citra: Part 8 of 8 [6.01 GB] | Megalinks MegaDB [GAME] 3DS decrypted rom mega collection for use with Citra: Part 8 of 8 [6.01 GB]

Snaph.it Link: http://links.snahp.it/545hanafuda8

I've encoded the password into base64. Decode this to get the password:

SWp1c3Rib3VnaHRhVklUQW9mZm9mZWJheS1WSVRBdXBsb2Fkc2NvbWluZ3Nvb24=

As usual, replace the "xxxx" in the link with "mega".

This is my last set of 3DS uploads for Citra:

Included games are:

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold The Fafnir Knight

Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia

Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition

LBX - Little Battlers eXperience

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice

Pokemon Rumble Blast

Rhythm Heaven Megamix

Unchained Blades

Two weeks from now, I will take down all of my previous links and replace them all with a single link to a folder that contains all of my 3DS games. This folder will be synced to my hard drive (via MegaSync) and will receive new 3DS games as I acquire them. However, I am unlikely to acquire any new ones unless somebody specifically requests them.

Also, I'm probably going to see if I can standardize my naming system. I'll probably use No-Intro's naming scheme, minus the numbering (i.e. "Mario and Luigi Dream Team" will become "Mario & Luigi - Dream Team (USA) (En,Fr,Es)"

So. You have two weeks to get all these roms before I replace them with better-named ones.

Feel free to convince me otherwise.

Thanks for all your uploads! I had no clue that there was a Rhythm Heaven for 3DS. Makes me wish there was a TWEWY 2.

Congrats on your new system! Hope you enjoy it :D

I only just ordered it today, so there aren't any guarantees yet.

Also, I got a deal because the game cartridge port doesn't work.

Fortunately, that is not an issue for me because I don't actually plan on BUYING any software for it.

Haha, that's great. I actually have a chance to get one myself, so I think I'll take a good look at your future posts to see what games I should be playing. Thanks!

What games do you want me to upload, then? I'm not very familiar with the system.

Uncharted is great. I like the following: Chess (and I'd love the various sets), Gravity Rush, Persona IV Golden, Need for Speed, God of war, Hot Shots Golf, Borderlands 2, Y's Memories of Celceta, Resistance, Killzone, Madden, Then there are the retro collections

Plus.. some digital downloads... Sine Mora, Crazy Climber (80s cult hit arcade game), Mutant Blob Attack (it's awesome!), Namco museum (1-5), SNK arcade classics, Tachyon Project.

And there were some sweet ports for the psp that never made it to the Vita...which blows.

There are a lot of Japanese games that never made it over here.... Any of those would be AWESOME!

They ported a bunch of PS1 games to the Vita: Resident Evil series, Dino Crisis series, Medevil, Final Fantasy bio, Mega Man series....etc...

I own most of the games mentioned above. If there's any way I can help, just let me know.

Just keep posting the names of the new files in your really large folder and that will work grand!

[-] ajshell1 | 2 points | Jun 23 2017 14:12:39

I think you'll lose them if they're imported.

However, I think you'll be able to import my new and complete batch once I upload it.

Upload all!

[-] ajshell1 | 1 points | Jun 23 2017 14:13:31

Really? You want me to upload ALL the 3DS games? Even the shitty movie license games? (which the 3DS doesn't have that many of, compared to the GBA)

Yea why not

[-] kolt54321 | 1 points | Jun 23 2017 17:47:58

...Because the time may be better spent uploading better games?

Re:GBA - The GBA also had more awesome games as well, I think xD 3DS has less games in general.

Exactly. Who here wants to play DreamWorks Super Star Kartz when they could be playing Mario Kart 7 instead? NOBODY, that's who!

Some idiots might want to collect every single game for a system, but I am NOT one of those. The 3DS's library is comparatively small. According to No-Intro's 3DS dat files, there are 1788 unique 3DS carts in existence. This figure counts each different localization of game as a separate entry, and this figure also includes all known kiosk carts. No-Intro's regular DS datfiles indicate that the regular DS has 6909 unique carts using the same counting methods, and the Gameboy Advance has 2938. All that said, each 3DS dump is at least 250 MB, and often larger. That will fill up a LOT of space. In addition, I have no reason to keep European or Japanese releases of games unless they weren't released in America. Also, I've been having difficulty finding decrypted 3DS roms that match No-Intro's checksums.

The only systems where I have ALL roms for that system are really old and obscure cartridge-based systems that don't have many games anyway.

Fun fact: the Wii has 1262 games according to one source. Since the games come on DVDs, a proper dump of each game is 4.7 GB (except a few games that use double layer DVDs for twice the space). Ignoring whether I'm counting a GB as 1000 MB or 1024 MB (this difference is why hard drives advertised as having a certain size never seem to be quite that large when installed), a complete Wii collection would be almost 6 TB. I'm sure everyone here has seen the Wii's library: there are some great games in it to be sure, but also MOUNTAINS AND MOUNTAINS of abysmal crap. Only obsessive archivists want a complete collection of that.

Thus, I'm trying to upload a curated selection of "Good and/or interesting exclusives".

Side note: May God have mercy on the soul of anyone who decides to try and make an archive of Android and iOS games. And I hope that there is a special place in heaven for those who curate THIS monstrosity (WARNING! Clicking on this link WILL bring your browser to it's knees. I don't care how powerful your system is. This link contains individual links to 31.5 GB of Amiga floppies, which are only 880 KB and in this case are compressed in zip files, so some basic math says that there are at least 35,795 links on that page. Consider yourself warned).

It's not even a 2/1 ratio for GBA vs 3DS? I'm surprised... though given that I played more GBA than 3DS, I honestly should have known that bias lol.

I think you hit the nail on the head. This is why there are many dumps out there for N64/NES/SNES complete game collections, but none out there so far for, say, Wii. After a certain point it becomes harder to collect everything due to size, and then people give up on that specific task.

Then again, if your "obscure cartridge based systems" include great Dreamcast games that takes hell to find anywhere else, you bet I'm interested. Though... I'm only interested in the good ones, like you said.

Also, a good selection of games makes the appeal for playing them that much greater. If I have everything, I don't really want to play anything :/

The Amiga page wasn't too bad, 16gb and an i7 handle it just a few seconds. Still, collecting all that? Wow.

Don't worry about the Amiga collectors. Anyone who's still likes Amigas in 2017 has the passion of 1200 Apple fanboys within them, and rose-tinted glasses with lenses the size of a ferris wheel.
