There are 3 ways:
(Just remember you need to change Proxies after you reached the Mega Limit)
Start Megadownloader
Get sum working Proxies (for example:https://crankgaming.net/proxy Don't take the first onces! 100% someone already used them. I will try my best to keep the list updated)
Open MegaDownloader goto Options Configuration, then advanced and put the proxy where it says proxies.
Download JDownloader2
Get sum working Proxies (for example:https://crankgaming.net/proxy Don't take the first onces! 100% someone already used them. I will try my best to keep the list updated)
Add Proxies under Seetings>Connections, remember to set the right priority.
Or configure jDownloader to reset you IP automatically.
Install Proxifier (here is a Lifetime Premium key: KFZUS-F3JGV-T95Y7-BXGAS-5NHHP )
Get sum working Proxies (for example:https://crankgaming.net/proxy Don't take the first onces! 100% someone already used them. I will try my best to keep the list updated)
Add the Proxies as HTTPS. (Don't know how to use this tut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j71l81XlBS8)
If needed change the Rules (Default) to the proxy you added.
Happy Downloading
-Somehow Proxies with the port :3128 seem to work really good
-Copy some Proxies and test them again to make sure they 100% work http://www.checker.freeproxy.ru/checker/
-Use a new Proxy for every new Download
-Here is a Confusing but Good Image Tutorial by @readwaht https://d2ppvlu71ri8gs.cloudfront.net/items/423x2U0Q3Y0f241C1Q0v/tutorial.jpg
-When you reach the limit, just change the Proxy!

All Proxies have been checked and reuploaded. All should be working!
(Just posthing this here, so people know how fresh they are)

UPDATE YOUR LINKS
You can also use jDownloader2 and add you proxies. Or just configure it to auto Reset you IP. It's super easy and does nearly all the work for you while setting it up.

I didn't do the screenshot as it says above, so I can't reupload it, sorry.
What kind of download speed are you getting through the proxies? I haven't used them in probably over 7 years but speed was always extremely slow. Nice tutorial btw.
[-] JasonCrank | 4 points
It really depends on the proxies, you might have to play around a little until you find a fast one, they usually are around 1 MB/s - 8 MB/s.
I made sure only to include Proxies in the list with a low Ping, to ensure faster Speeds.
[-] LightWolfspirit | 3 points
not even getting 1MB/s but still nice tutorial
[-] JasonCrank | 2 points
Switch around those proxies, like i said, some are shitty some are good.

Can this be done on a mac somehow? Megadownload isn't available on mac i believe?
[-] JasonCrank | 7 points
In that case you need to follow the Proxifier tutorial https://www.proxifier.com/mac_download.htm
DM on Twitter if you need help setting it up.

Hello I've been using your method for the past few weeks (using option 1 megadownloader) and it worked great. However, It doesn't work anymore I keep getting errors and I've changed the proxy almost 20 times.
Anyone else with this problem?
Does this allow for 5gb+ files? Using a VPN those don't seem to work.
[-] JasonCrank | 4 points
Yes, you will need to change the Proxy inbetween. After the download reached 4,8 GB or so, pause it, change the Proxy and then continue.
Megadownloader doesn't download it at all though though if it's greater than 5gb. Give it a go, and see if it works by you.
[-] JasonCrank | 1 points
If its not working use a different proxies, some have already been used or stopped working, thats the only bad part with this method. If you DM me on twitter i can help ya out!
Thanks! I'm using a VPN, and pieces under 2gb download flawlessly; I've also used different locations/ip addresses. I like your idea of using free proxies, but even with paid ones 5gb+ files don't seem to budge. Let me know if you find anything to solve this!
[-] JasonCrank | 2 points
I'll make a gif later on to show how to do it.
I know how to do it lol. I just need to see if 5gb files start downloading. Right now there's no way to get to the initial 4.8gb.
[-] JasonCrank | 2 points
Did you use a proxy to get to the 4.8? I just said 4.8 so you can switch proxies before mega even thinks about locking. Anything below 5 :)
But it won't even start downloading is what I'm saying. When it sees that it's 6gb it'll automatically have 0.00 speeds - meaning that the download will never start to begin with. With or without a proxy.
[-] JasonCrank | 1 points
Oh, that's weird, no idea. Sorry man :(

Yeah 5GB+ files dont work at all... I guess the actual file size doesnt get accepted
Or just get a new ip if you can . In a lot of cases if you shut down your router for a minute or two you'll get a new ip . Unless you have a static one (something most isp charge for in my country and many others) this will work.
[-] quasimodoca | 7 points
Having worked for both AT&T and Comcast that is not true at all.
Firstly shutting down your router and starting it back up will not change your IP address as you are only getting 192.168* IP addresses for internal NAT.
Secondly your modem from your ISP has it's MAC address registered with the DHCP server for your ISP. Turning off your modem for a minute or two does nothing. As soon as you power it back up the MAC address is read by the DHCP server and compared to it's routing table and the same IP address is reassigned to your modem.
There is nothing a rep at tech support can do to change this. I've had customers call in and complain for 1/2 an hour trying to get a new IP. Escalated tickets to tier 2 and tier 3. No dice.
You can try turning off your modem for like a week but that still isn't guaranteed to get you a new IP address. Modem signals DHCP server, table read, original IP restored.
Want a guaranteed new IP. Go exchange your modem. That's about the only way to get a new IP.
edit: Unless you have a static one (something most isp charge for in my country and many others) this will work. This leads me to believe that you are not in the US. So this may hold true outside the US market. Since the majority of people on Reddit are US based this info probably doesn't apply. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/reddit.com
[-] JasonCrank | 6 points
What he meant, was Dynamic IPs. Some Providers Telekom,... offer Dynamic Ips, meaning you get a small IP range for example 81.34.535-81.34.538. When you have it setup correctly in your rooter it will change the IP on rebooting it. Your Provider and Rooter need to support it though. During my time in the USA never heard of a dynamic IP there though, so maybe those providers don't support it?
[-] quasimodoca | 3 points
Almost no one in the US has a static IP. By definition they are all dynamic. You can get a static IP from your ISP but it will cost you.
That being said, almost all of the IP addresses assigned are "sticky."
They can change and the ISP doesn't guarantee that you will keep the one you have but they change so infrequently that for all intents and purposes they are static. But they aren't really.
What you are describing doesn't happen in the US.
Most consumers get a modem from the ISP and the IP address can remain unchanged for years. But don't count on it because they don't guarantee it.

Having some issues with jdownloader. I put up a proxy in connection manager and put it as number one priority. However, when I run reconnect, it fails. Not sure what's happening.
[-] JasonCrank | 1 points
Sadly, I can't help you with that, got no idea how jdownloader works, really sorry!
Do you have a lifetime key for ProxyFier for Mac? It says the key is exclusively for windows. Thanks if you do.
Has mega now stopped working indefinitely with megadownloader?
[-] JasonCrank | 2 points
No, there is just the 5GB Limit per IP.
Even with being on megadownloader? It used to ignore the limit
[-] JasonCrank | 2 points
Yep Mega did something, idk exactly what, but the only way to keep using megadownloader is with Proxys or a VPN.
[-] DownvoteOrFeed | 1 points
enforced limit server side instead of just client side through their website/browser extension
i just use ultrasurf https://ultrasurf.us/
[-] JasonCrank | 3 points
Just be careful with it, they are known for using their terms of services, which basically state that they can charge you money for downloading illegal stuff and are not afraid to forward it to the feds.
Plus they don't have that many IPs. I could suggest SoftEtherVPN it doesn't run over companies, but home connections so no risk for you in the endgame thanks to internet laws.
[-] barlicgread | 1 points
is there a way to do this on jdownloader
Yes, you can add Proxies under Settings>Connecctions, remember to set the right priority. Alternativly you can configure jDownloader to reset you IP automatically.

Thanks a ton for telling, added the method and hopefully quoted you the right way :)
[-] OcelotSilver | 1 points
I tried the proxy thing, but it kept giving me errors, and asking for authorization so I'm gonna stick with the vpn, until someone comes up with a better, and more convenient solution.
[-] JasonCrank | 1 points
Which Method did you use?
[-] JasonCrank | 1 points
Added a Third Method thanks to @Kurayashi, and a Picture Tutorial thanks to @readwaht!
Also All Proxies have been checked and updated! All should be working again!
If it is needed I can make a Video Tutorial for the 1. and 3. method.

Personally I noticed it likes to use IPv6 addresses for connections, so I renew or for a new IPv6 address for The PC on my subnet. Seemed a lot easier since I stumbled on it by accident,
2x transferred just for switching between v4+v6, besides extra double 5-to-10GB DL for 2 different LAN PC's (Their extension, use of WebRTC, many other possible ways could be checking internal IP's, Hardware ID fingerprinting techniques etc...) and I get about 4 public v6 addresses per PC by default for some reason so... =D
shhh.... a spare nic like wifi and a driver allowing mac changing are common;
|| or one might try bridging a VMWare nic with a real one, obtain a legitimate DHCPv6 address and then later changing the fake NIC configured mac address before running (assuming the command works like it should)
['ipconfig /release6 && ipconfig /renew6'] makes it simple as can be.
=)
There's seriously an auto-reply Msg complaint for using "a lot" as a single word instead of two? Before I learned to type and use spell-check I was an A+ grade-school speller, who embraces reasonable slang as the more common words to be added to the dictionary. As two separate words it sounds like you're referring to a piece of empty land with no building(s) on it [and is pronounced differently]. How come "Google" means to search online according to Webster (j/k) and :

You can import the entire proxy list in Jdownloader , I edit the list adding (with an online text formatter) "http://" on every lines and then paste it in Jdownloader

All of this? Just spend some time away from keyboard, then come back and grab what you need.
As an alternative just get Mega Tools
You just type in megaDL and paste a link and download maxxed out speed with unlimited download limits. No slowdowns, registration or vpns needed
Http://megatools.megous.com
[-] JasonCrank | 6 points
Sorry to say this, but Mega Tools is like the MegaDownloader
https://github.com/megous/megatools/issues/286
The Problem was already listed on their Github/Source Code Page.
The only way to download unlimited is with changing your IP.
Looks like that issue is recent then.
have been downloading massive 30gb games for months
